Some pieces need to look a clear notch above a corporate interview. Long Island Streaming produces higher-production-value shoots for clients across Long Island and the New York metro area — the tier where camera movement, shaped lighting, and a planned board do the work.
How we produce it
This is the shoot standard inside our commercial production workflow. The plan is tighter than a standard corporate shoot: a board signed off before the day, a shot list mapped to cut points, and a schedule that protects the shots that carry the piece.
On the day that means a dolly or slider for intentional movement, a gaffer shaping the light rather than flooding it, lenses chosen for depth, and a grip and gaffer added to the crew. The hero coverage is shot first and the detail shots protected.

Frequently asked questions
- What actually raises production value?
Motion and light, mostly — a camera that moves with intent on a dolly or slider, lighting that is shaped rather than just bright, lenses chosen for depth, and a board that plans each shot for the cut. Plus the time in the schedule to get them.
- Do we need a storyboard?
For this tier, yes. A board or a detailed shot list is signed off before the day so the shoot is efficient and the edit is not improvised.
- Is this only for commercials?
No. Brand films, launch pieces, recruitment hero videos, and high-visibility executive pieces all benefit from the same step up.
- How much longer is the shoot day?
Usually a fuller day with a slightly larger crew — a grip and a gaffer in addition to the camera and sound team — because movement and shaped light take setup time.
