Conference & Event Session Recording

Full session libraries captured properly — multi-camera, slides keyed from a clean feed rather than a camera of a screen, then edited, titled, and captioned for on-demand.

Long Island Streaming records conference and event sessions for organisations across Long Island and the New York metro area — a full library of talks, panels, breakouts, and keynotes, captured multi-camera and finished for on-demand. The mistake most session recording makes is pointing one camera at the stage and calling it done. We take a clean slide feed, run enough angles to cut, and deliver sessions people actually watch afterwards.

How we produce it

Before the event we get the run of show, the room layouts, and the presentation setup, and agree how the slide feed comes to us — a switch output, a scan converter, or the presenter's laptop. We plan camera positions that stay out of sightlines and a recording path that is separate from anything the live stream needs.

During each session cameras roll continuously — a wide for safety, a tight for the speaker, and the keyed slide feed as its own source. Audio comes from the room's mixer, not a camera mic.

A rear-of-room camera on the speaker, a wide for safety, and a clean slide feed recorded as its own source.

After the event each session is assembled with the slides keyed in and timed, titled with a consistent lower-third and end card, captioned, and exported to the spec your on-demand platform or LMS expects.

Frequently asked questions

How do you handle the slides?

We take a clean feed from the presentation switch or the presenter's laptop and key it into the edit, so slides are sharp and readable rather than a camera pointed at a projection screen. Slide changes are timed to the speaker.

One camera or several?

Whatever the room and budget call for — a single locked camera for a breakout, or two to three for a main-stage session so the edit can cut between a wide, a tight, and the slides. See multi-camera production.

Can this run alongside a live stream?

Yes. The same cameras and slide feed record a full-quality session library while the encoder streams it live — see conference live streaming.

What is the turnaround for the library?

Edited, titled, and captioned sessions are typically delivered within one to two weeks of the event, or faster for a priority subset.
