Reporters are busy and cannot always be in the room. A live webcast lets the journalists you want — local, national, trade, or international — cover a briefing they would otherwise miss, and it gives your newsroom the clips to push the story before the cycle moves on. We produce the webcast and provide the feeds the press in the room actually need.
What we produce
Press conference / briefing
- Multi-camera coverage of the podium, a wide, and the press
- Podium microphone and a clean broadcast audio mix
- Lower thirds with names and titles
- Streamed live, recorded, and archived
Feeds for the press
- A clean program feed — camera cut, no graphics
- An audio mult / press box with multiple direct outputs
- A camera riser at the back of the room for TV crews
- A house feed to the venue's screens if needed
On location
- Announcements at a site, a groundbreaking, or courthouse steps
- Bonded-cellular uplink where there is no wired internet
- A fast, small footprint — get there, go live, wrap
- Social simulcast from the field
Why webcast a media event
- Wider reach. A local story, streamed, can be picked up regionally, nationally, or by trade press who could not send someone.
- Interest you can measure. Webcast analytics show who watched and for how long — useful for follow-up pitching.
- Cost-effective. No catering, no printed kits, no room capacity limit.
- Interactive. Moderated Q&A lets remote journalists ask questions and lets your team prioritise the ones that matter.
- Social momentum. Journalists are heavy social users; a live video gives them something to react to and amplify.
Recording and clips
We record the switched program and isolated (ISO) camera angles. Within the hour we can turn around short clips — the statement, a specific answer, a soundbite — captioned and in the right aspect ratio for your newsroom, your site, and each social channel.
Reliability
The webcast runs on a tested connection with a bonded-cellular backup, a separate recording that survives a dropped stream, and backup power. A briefing that goes dark is its own bad headline.

Press events often sit alongside a conference or a broader live-streaming program; private access and analytics are covered under streaming technology & custom development.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you provide a press feed and an audio mult?
Yes. We provide a clean program feed (no graphics) and a multi-output audio mult / press box so broadcast and radio journalists can record a direct line off the podium rather than a room mic.
- Can we stream from anywhere — a site, a field, a step-and-repeat outside a building?
Yes. With a bonded-cellular uplink we can broadcast from a location with no wired internet — a construction site, a courthouse steps, a field.
- Can journalists ask questions remotely?
Yes. Remote reporters can submit questions through the platform or a web form, moderated by your team, and a remote journalist can be brought on camera to ask live if you want that.
- Do we get ISO recordings and clips?
Yes. We record the switched program plus isolated camera angles, and we can cut short clips — the key statement, a specific answer — for your newsroom and social channels, often within the hour.
- Can you simulcast to our social channels?
Yes. One program feed can go to a private or public page plus YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, or X at the same time, with the recording.
