Live Streaming Virtual Event Spaces

Not a link to a stream — a branded online venue. Attendees register, land in a lobby, and move between session rooms, an expo hall, and a networking lounge.

A link to a stream is one room. Your audience arrives, watches, and leaves. A virtual event space is the whole venue: attendees register once, land in a branded lobby with the agenda, and move between a main stage, breakout rooms, an expo or sponsor hall, and a networking lounge — with everything recorded into an on-demand library they can come back to. We build and run the space, and we produce the live video going into every room.

A montage of people in different settings — a home office, a corporate desk, a hotel room — each watching the same branded live session on a laptop or monitor.
One branded space reaches an audience in many places.

Who this is for

  • Multi-session conferences and summits that need concurrent tracks and a home for the whole program.
  • Membership and association events where the space is a year-round benefit, not a one-day link.
  • Trade shows and expos that need sponsor booths, demos, and lead capture alongside the sessions.
  • Training and certification programs delivered live and then kept on demand.
  • Internal company summits — sales kickoffs, leadership offsites, all-company weeks — that need one branded, access-controlled place for everything.

How a virtual event space is laid out

Attendees register and sign in, land in a branded lobby with the agenda, then move between a main stage, breakout rooms, an expo or sponsor hall, and a networking lounge. Every session is captured to an on-demand library. Long Island Streaming produces the live video feeding each room.
One sign-in, one branded venue — sessions, an expo, networking, and a library that fills up as the event runs.
  • Registration & sign-in — a form that collects what you need, sends confirmations, and becomes your attendee list. Access codes, per-ticket links, and (where supported) SSO or two-factor on top.
  • Lobby — your branding, the agenda, "starting soon" and "up next" prompts, sponsor banners, and announcements.
  • Main stage — the keynotes and general sessions, produced as a full multi-camera live stream.
  • Breakout rooms — concurrent tracks, each with its own produced feed, stream, and recording (see conference live streaming).
  • Expo / sponsor hall — booths with video, downloadable resources, a "talk to us" button, and simple lead capture.
  • Networking lounge — text and video chat, one-to-one or group tables, where the platform supports it.
  • On-demand library — every session, edited and captioned, organised by track and day, inside the same space.

The venue and the pipe

This page is about the venue — the branded place your audience logs into. The production and delivery behind it — encoding, redundancy, private access, and analytics — is covered on streaming technology & custom development. On most events we do both: build the space and run the streams into it.

Access and security

A production position with several monitors, each showing a different room of a virtual event — main stage, two breakout rooms, and the lobby view — with an operator managing the feeds.
One operator manages several virtual-event rooms at once.
  • Email registration as the baseline — you own the list.
  • Access codes and per-ticket links for paid or invite-only events.
  • Domain restrictions so only your organisation (or a client's) can enter.
  • Single sign-on and two-factor where the underlying platform supports it — we confirm what is possible for your configuration before we commit to it.
  • Private by default — nothing is public unless you choose to make it so.

Ticketing and sponsors

A virtual sponsor booth layout on screen: a banner, a video panel playing a demo, a row of downloadable resource tiles, a 'talk to us' button, and a small team-photo area — layout and shapes only, no legible text.

  • Ticketing — we put registration or a paywall in front of the space and integrate with a ticketing or payment provider you choose. We build the venue; we do not process payments.
  • Sponsor value — branded booths, lobby banners, a sponsored track, logo bugs on the session video, a named on-demand session, and basic lead capture from booth visits and resource downloads.

Production support

Every room in the space is fed by a real production: cameras and operators on the main stage, a camera package per breakout, presentation switching, remote-presenter integration, and one coordinated internet plan with a bonded-cellular backup. One central production position runs all of it, so the rooms start on time and stay on air.

What you get

  • The branded virtual event space, configured and tested
  • Registration, access control, and the attendee list
  • A produced live stream and a clean recording for every room
  • The edited, captioned on-demand library inside the space
  • A viewer analytics report — who registered, who attended, which sessions, for how long
  • Sponsor / booth engagement data, where used
  • Optional: highlight reels and post-event promo cuts

Planning

  1. Scope — how many rooms, how many days, public or private, ticketed or free, sponsors or not.
  2. Platform choice — configure an existing platform, or a lighter custom build on your domain.
  3. Design — branding, the lobby, the agenda structure, the expo and networking areas.
  4. Production plan — cameras and crew per room, remote presenters, connectivity and backup.
  5. Rehearsal — a technical run of the main stage and checks with remote speakers.
  6. Event — producers run every room; a host keeps the lobby moving.
  7. After — the library is finished, analytics delivered, space kept live for on-demand for as long as you want it.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from just putting a livestream on a web page?

A single stream on a page is one room. A virtual event space is the whole venue: a registration gate, a lobby with the agenda, several session rooms running at once, an expo or sponsor area, a networking lounge, and an on-demand library afterward — all under your branding, with one sign-in.

Do you build the platform or use an existing one?

Either. We can configure and run a virtual-event platform, or build a lighter custom space on your domain when your needs are specific. We will recommend the option that fits the event and the budget rather than the one that sells more software.

How do attendees get in — and stay out if they should not?

Email registration is the baseline. On top of that we can add access codes, per-ticket links, domain restrictions, and — where the platform supports it — single sign-on or two-factor authentication. We confirm exactly which of these are possible for your setup before we promise them.

Can we sell tickets?

Yes. We put registration or a paywall in front of the space and integrate with a ticketing or payment provider you choose. We build the venue and the viewing experience; we do not process payments ourselves.

Can it run several sessions at the same time?

Yes. Each room has its own live video feed, its own stream, and its own recording, all produced from one central production position. Attendees move between rooms from the lobby.

What happens to the content after the event?

Every session is recorded and can be edited, titled, and captioned into an on-demand library inside the same space, organised by track and day, so the event keeps delivering value for months.

Does it work with Zoom or Teams?

Yes, where that is what your audience uses. A Zoom or Microsoft Teams session can be embedded as a room, or we feed a clean produced program into it. See streaming technology & custom development.
